Opposition UNITA calls for media's greater rigour

Kuito - The provincial coordinator of the major opposition UNITA party in central Bie province, Manuel Savinhemba, urged the media for more rigor and impartiality while processing and dissemination of the political parties' issues.

Speaking to Angop, the politician called for the need of the media organs to convey the real information and message drafted by the parties.

According to Manuel Savinhemba, the media are the main means of transmission of messages aimed at persuading the voters about the real intentions of the parties and coalitions for the welfare of the people.

The purpose of the media in the world is to narrate, with the objectivity, impartiality and rigor, the facts on political, cultural, economic, social impacts, among others.
