MPLA to accomplish country's development project - party's president

Luena - The president of the ruling MPLA party José Eduardo dos Santos, said Friday in Luena city, eastern  Moxico province that the party has a direction, a project to be accomplished, taking into account the improvement of living conditions of Angolans and the country's development.

 

MPLA leader said this during a mass rally held in Moxico province in the light of the election campaign of the ruling party.

 

José Eduardo dos Santos who called for the citizens’ trust said that with his party Angola will grow more and distribute better.

 

He stressed that along with the ruling party the Angolans will overcome the most difficult stage concerning the reconstruction of the country and new progresses will develop faster.

 

According to MPLA president, growing more and better distribution implies everything that is important so that the Angolans can have a decent and happy living condition.

 

“This includes self-housing, education, health, energy and clean drinking water, among many benefits.  These are the main priorities for the coming mandate", stressed Jose Eduardo dos Santos, who thanked all those with conviction that the struggle will continue and all people will vote for MPLA on August 31.

 

The governance programme of MPLA focuses mainly on consolidation of peace, strengthening of democracy, preservation of unity and national cohesion, guarantee of the basic conditions  necessary for development and improvement of the living quality of Angolans.

 

It also stipulates interaction between government and the living forces of the nation.
