CAN2010 provides first jobs in Huíla province

Lubango – The Orange Africa Cup of Nations (Angola2010) has started to produce additional results to those of the strictly sporting ambit, with the generation of first job opportunities for people from all walks of society in southern Huíla province.

 

On the eve of the competition to be held from January 10-31 in the cities of Luanda, Benguela, Cabinda and Lubango, men and women of various ages are flocking in their thousands to the premises of the Provincial Committee  of the African Cup Organisation Committee (COCAN).

 

They are seeking for several available services such as those of translation, secretariat and others.

 

The National Tundavala Stadium was inaugurated Tuesday by the prime minister, António Paulo Kassoma.

 

The premier also inaugurated 50 taxis which is an initiative of the Afro-Taxi company that has secured first job for more than 50 citizens.
