Namibe – The Angolan minister of Transport, Augusto Tomás, recognised that workers play a relevant role in the production of goods and services in the country.
Augusto Tomas was speaking in south-western Nemibe province, during the seminar on "Happy Enterprise".
He said workers play an important role in the production of goods and services in the country and their activity needs the backing of physical resources and vehicles.
The minister spoke of the need for a permanent dialogue among workers in seeking understanding.
Augusto Tomas also said employers should adopt schemes of social responsibility and remain sensitive in supporting the workers with their health, transportation and housing needs.
He also mentioned that salaries should enable the workers to lead a comfortable life.
