Luanda - The country needs higher education institutions able to train staff  to help ensure that Angola becomes a reference on the African continent, defended today, Friday in Luanda the minister of Higher Education, Adão do Nascimento.

Speaking at the opening session of the VII Meeting of frames tocoistas happening in Luanda or two days, with the participation of 500 delegates and lectured nationally and internationally, Adao do Nascimento advanced that higher education should provide a strategic vision of development, reason by which sought the cooperation of all Angolans.

He stressed the need to have an institutional capacity to ensure safe and capable this strategic vision and committed people with the direction the country is taking, with a view to the welfare of Angolans.

In the view of Adao do Nascimento, it is necessary that everyone adopts a posture, an academic culture and working himself to the profession of educators, having regard to punctuality, attendance, among other principles.

He stressed that higher education institutions should take into account the direction the country is taking, followed by identification of the guidelines issued superiorly and know how to implement them.

He advocated a good organization and management, since the higher education subsystem provides private and public institutions, while maintaining the principle of public higher education.

The event under the motto "higher education that we want to have," which will discuss topics such as the socio-educational profile of the prophet Simão Gonçalves Toco, reflection on the process of incorporation of institutions of higher education under the tutelage of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the World, axes and structuring lines of  the national training of the executive for the 2013-2017 period, among others.

The meeting has lectured nationally and internationally, invited by the management of the church, as well as leaders and cadres of the religious institution.

Attending the opening ceremony of the event, which continues this afternoon, in addition to the Secretary of State for Culture, Cornelio Caley, the governor of Luanda, Bento Bento Sebastião, leaders of various religious denominations and church faithful Tocoista.
