Media Vice-minister checks social works in Menongue

Menongue – The Media Vice-minister, Manuel Miguel de Carvalho “Wandijimbi”, checked on Sunday in Menongue city in the eastern Kuando Kubango province the main social infrastructures underway that region.
Sided by the provincial governor of Kuando Kubango, Eusébio de brito Teixeira and some officials of the local executive, the Vice-minister visited the works underway of the construction of Agrarian High Institute that will receive over 500 students, to be concluded between September and October.
The construction works, which are in an advanced phase, are under responsibility of the Chinese company in Missombo commune in Menongue district.
Wadijimbi also visited the works underway of the construction of the fuel station with the capacity to reserve 45 million of fuel and the butane gas storage and supply area.
He also checked the works of ophtalmological centre and pre-university centre.
The official also visited Nursing High Institute, facilities of Higher Education Institute of “Mandume-Ya-Ndemufayo” University and Family Counselling Centre, as well as the rehabilitation and expansion works of the Radio broadcasting station of RNA in Menongue district.
The Vice-minister and officials of the local executive also checked University Centre of Menongue, funded by the central government, as well as a secondary school.
On Monday, the Vice-minister is unveiling FM repeating radio broadcasting station in Kuchi locality.
