Luanda – The president of the ruling MPLA party, José Eduardo dos Santos, Friday in Luanda urged the officials at all levels of the
organisation to handle matters in an objective way based on the laws and regulations of the party.
The president was speaking at the opening of the 6th ordinary session of the MPLA Central Committee.
Jose Eduardo dos Santos said on the occasion that the performance of their duties, subjective questions and people must not be placed above the general interests.
“The work must be efficient and useful, done with discipline and by those who have the knowledge, ability or necessary qualifications to guarantee the successful execution of the national development plan and the State Budget,” he stated.
According to José Eduardo dos Santos, “We need a coherent, realistic and effective policy on cadres that sets the objective criteria of training, placement, remunerations, evaluation of performance and merit rising.”
Speaking on the 2012 general elections, president José Eduardo dos Santos stated that the large majority of the militants, friendship and sympathisers of MPLA fulfilled with devotion, spirit of sacrifice and zeal the party’s guidelines,”
“We need to work together and with determination in the accomplishment of our promises,” said the president of the ruing MPLA who is also the president of the Republic of Angola.
On the other hand, the MPLA leader said it will come with measures the can avoid failures and insufficiencies in future electoral processes.
The MPLA president said Angola is a progressist party that promotes and works for the construction of the construction of a State that allows wellbeing.
