Historian wants more valuing of cultural heritage
The need to value more the country’s cultural heritage, taking into account the process of retrieving civic and cultural values in the country, was defended this Wednesday in the city of Huambo, by historian Alberto Sehululo.

Speaking to ANGOP, about the role of new museums in divulging the history of Angola, the scholar stated that the valuing and scientific studies of written works is the main condition in the process of consolidation of habits and customs of a people.
In view of that, Alberto Sehululo said, it is necessary for the educational institutions to promote visits of scientific studies to museums, to know more about some historical facts of the ethno-linguistic groups of Angola, and acquaint themselves with the country’s habits and customs, through the objects therein.
The source explained that the museums present a very fantastic wealth, because in these venues we can find arts made by ancestors, thus, challenged the youth to visit the museums.
