Zaire: Cuimba's agribusiness project to start eggs production in June

Cuimba - The agribusiness project of Cuimba Municipality, in the northern Zaire Province, will start producing eggs in June this year, a time at which it is to be concluded the works of building the poultry farms, ANGOP has learnt.

The project will have the capacity to produce 50,000 chickens and 12.5 million eggs a year.

The information has been provided to ANGOP by Luo Yuanfan, an official of the Chinese firm in charge of executing the governmental project.

 Luo Yuanfan said also that the present stage is focused on building the poultry farms, whose works are scheduled to finish by the start of the dry season.

He also informed that this project includes the production of cereals – which actually started in 2014 – whose first results are to be seen in April this year, with the harvesting of about 1,800 tons of maize and 60 tons of soya.

 The Chinese technician also revealed that this undertaking will cause the firm to recruit about 50 young people who will join the existing 30 workers of the firm.
