Speaking last Tuesday to the press in Lubango City, where he made a work visit of some hours and was also received by the local governor, Dimitri Lobachi pointed out the production of cereals and the boosting of cattle-breeding activity priorities in this intention.
Without mentioning monetary amounts or dates for the start of the said projects, the Russian diplomat said that it will be a valuable step to invest in Huila Province, considering its farming potential, which is similar to that of Russia.
He went on to say that projects of this kind might also be implemented in the provinces of Luanda and Huambo, as well as other regions of the country.
Dimitri Lobachi revealed also that in the past three years Russia invested USD 50 million in the Angolan trade sector, however, he said, the results have not been so good due to several constraints.
