Thus, the DNT is still committed, within the next five days, to fully regulate the salaries of all the staff of the civil state and others, regarding the month of February this year, said the Ministry of Finance in a note that reached Angop on Monday.

The document states that despite the lack of financial resources as a result of the oil price fall in the international market, the Angolan Government has been able to fulfill its main commitments.

Under the honoured commitments, focus goes to the remuneration of staff, the compliance with the debt service and the assurance of minimum operating costs, fruit of a prudential and strict fiscal policy by the Head of the Executive Power.

The note continues that the Ministry of Finance, the National Treasury Directorate reiterates that budget units should adopt greater rigor and budgetary, financial and fiscal discipline, so that the Executive continues to honour the goals set up in the State Budget (OGE) for 2016.
