In this edition of Mining Indaba Angola, represented in the event by the public National Diamonds Company (Endiama-EP), will not deliver an official communication. However, the country has been making contacts with a view to attracting investors for the mining sector, reason why it is participating in this event which is being attended by over one hundred countries, financiers and executives.

This year’s meeting is aimed at finding mechanisms that can help to overcome the difficulties in the world’s mining sector, seeking innovation, new technologies, better work and living conditions for workers, as well as ways to put an end to corruption.

Mining Indaba, which ends this Thursday, is an opportunity for countries to discuss and analyse their respective situation in the domain of minerals and find ways to mitigate the impact of the international crisis.
