The 14-hour flight connection is secured by a Boeing 777-200 and as from October, the crew will comprise Chinese staff.

"We are the only African airlines that employ Chinese crew” – stressed the commercial representative of TAAG in Beijing, António Inácio.

TAAG started flying to Beijing once a week in 2008.

“China is a strategic and privileged partner of Angola and the country today is one of the key commercial partners of China in Africa" – said the Angolan ambassador to China, João Garcia Bires.

Luanda-Beijing flights leave on Mondays and Fridays and return on Tuesday and Saturdays.
