Sumbe - The governor of the central Kwanza-Sul Province, Serafim do Prado, said that a fall has been recorded in fish catch, due to lack of boats.
The official said so to the state-run Angolan Public Television (TPA) and the National Radio of Angola (RNA).
"We recorded a considerable reduction in the number of boats, due to the stoppage of the Chinese firm (Yan Ming Interprise) that operated between 2002 and 2011", he said.
The initiative was to get an annual capture of about 1.000 tonnes and currently we have 200 to 3000 tonnes.
