Luanda – Petro de Luanda will seek to recover the leadership of the national first division football championship (Girabola2012), when they face Altético do Namibe this Sunday at "11 de Novembro" stadium, in Luanda, for the closing of the eighth round.
On Saturday, Petro temporarily lost the leadership of the competition to Recreativo do Libolo (titleholders), which beat at home Recreativo da Caála by 3-2.
Libolo has 19 points, two ahead of Petro and 1º de Agosto, in the following positions.
Atlético do Namibe is in the 12th position with 10, whilst Sporting de Cabinda is at the bottom of the table with one point.
